ABOUT OUR CHURCH

Our Core Beliefs

1. The Bible as God’s Word: We believe the Bible is God’s inspired and authoritative Word, containing all that is necessary for faith and practice. We affirm its infallibility and reliability as the ultimate source of truth.

2. The Trinity: We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity is entirely God, yet distinct in role and function.

3. Salvation by Grace through Faith: We believe that salvation is a gift from God, offered freely to all who believe in Jesus Christ. It is not earned through good works or religious rituals but received by grace through faith alone.

4. Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord: We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, his virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, and imminent return. He is the only way to God and the ultimate source of forgiveness and reconciliation.

5. The Church as the Body of Christ: We believe the Church is the universal body of believers, called to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, and make disciples of all nations. It comprises diverse members, each with unique gifts and roles, united in love and service.

6. Baptism and Communion: We believe in the ordinances of baptism by immersion for believers and the Lord’s Supper (Communion), practiced in obedience to Christ’s commands and as symbols of our faith and unity in Christ.

7. The Holy Spirit’s Work: We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, empowers believers for Christian living, and indwells the Church as the source of spiritual gifts and guidance.

8. The Second Coming and Final Judgment: We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ to establish his kingdom on earth and to judge the living and the dead. We eagerly anticipate his reign of righteousness and the ultimate restoration of all things.

9. Eternal Life: We believe in the reality of heaven and hell, where individuals will experience eternal fellowship with God or separation from him based on their response to the Gospel message.

10. Social Justice and Compassion: We believe in the importance of social justice, compassion, and care for the marginalized and oppressed. We are called to advocate for righteousness and work towards transforming society according to God’s kingdom values.

Our values and core beliefs serve as the foundation of our faith and guide our worship, discipleship, and mission as a church community.
